Cryptologic Blackjack
Cryptologic, also known as Wagerlogic, is the longest running online casino company. The first Cryptologic online blackjack game was played in 1996 at the infancy of online gambling. The main licensee operating today for Cryptologic/Wagerlogic is Intercasino.
The Cryptologic software has two versions integrated into one software platform. Some of the blackjack games use software that is ten years old, while some of the games have a more modern feel. Even the ten-year-old software is better than some more modern offerings in the online casino industry.
There are many options for players within the software. These options include three game speeds, time limits, loss limits, sounds, voices, and animations. The software also has a warning feature for players when they are about to make an obvious bad play such as doubling down a hand that can bust. This feature can be turned off but is on by default.
There is also an auto bet feature. Players can set how much they would like to bet each hand and set parameters for when to stop the auto betting. For example, during a hot or cold streak, the auto bet can be programmed to turn off after winning or losing a preset number of hands. There is also an auto strategy setting that can be enabled and edited to the player’s preferences.
There is a game log on the past six winning or pushing hands. When the dealer is showing an ace, and a player is playing more than one hand, there is an option for yes/no insurance for all hands. This speeds up the play so that players do not have to click yes or no up to five times for a hand where the dealer shows an ace.
There is also a rebet and deal button. Some online blackjack software platforms will make a player click two buttons to deal a new hand, but not Cryptologic/Wagerlogic.
Players are capable of playing very high betting limits. Some high limits require approval and high balances to qualify. If a player would like to raise the betting limits, they can contact the fast support of Cryptologic.

Atlantic City Micro Blackjack (98.85%)
Atlantic City Micro Blackjack is the lowest limit online blackjack available. Players may bet as little as a dime on their favorite game. The payback is a bit lower than standard blackjack games, but there are some fun payouts to help balance that out. House advantage means little when playing for less than $1 per hand.

Double Deck Blackjack (99.67%)
Double Deck Blackjack is dealt European style. This means that the dealer will not deal their second down card until after the player acts. Due to this style of dealing, players must change how they would play against an ace or ten card. If a player doubles down or splits and the dealer has a blackjack, the player will lose both bets.

- Dealer stands on all 17’s
- Double down any two cards
- Double down after split
- Split to two hands
- One card on split aces
Single Deck Blackjack (99.83%)
Single Deck Blackjack is dealt like a pitch game would be live. The animation displays as if a dealer is dealing two cards. When a player is done with their action, the cards are tucked under the player’s bet. Single Deck Blackjack is easily the best game at Cryptologic, but the minimum bet is $25.
- $25-$5000
- One deck
- Dealer hits soft 17
- Double down any two cards
- No double down after split
- Split to two hands

Multi Hand Video Blackjack
Multi Hand Video Blackjack is an unusual and fun game. In fact, it is probably my favorite online blackjack variation. A player may choose to play between 1-5 hands. The player may then set the number of dealer hands to 3, 5, 10, or 50. The player then chooses to bet $1-$50 per hand. The player gets a unique hand for their 1-5 hands. The dealer then gets the same up card for each of their hands. If you play 50 hands and the dealer gets a 5 on one hand, they will have a 5 for all hands. After the player acts on all of their hands, the dealer then plays all of their hands. Each dealer hand will have a different down card and different draw cards, only the up card is the same. At the end of the hand, all of the player’s hands are compared to all of the dealer’s hands. The outcome is the same as a typical blackjack hand.
- $1-$50 per hand
- Four or eight decks
- Dealer stands on all 17’s
- Double down any two cards
- Double down after split
- Split up to two hands
- One card only on split aces
Pontoon (99.62%)
Pontoon is a blackjack variation primarily found in Australian casinos. The object of Pontoon is to get dealt a Pontoon, which is essentially a blackjack. If a player splits aces and receives a ten card, the player gets paid as a Pontoon, which pays 2-1. The second best hand is a Five Card Trick. A Five Card Trick is any hand that contains five cards but does not bust. Both of the dealer’s cards are dealt down. A player must hit with under 15, even after a double down.
- Eight decks
- One hand only
- Dealer hits soft 17
- Split to three hands
- Double down any number of cards
- Double down after split anytime
- Resplit aces
- Must hit to 15
- Pontoon and 5 Card Trick pay 2-1
- Dealer wins ties
Super Fun 21 (99.06%)
Super Fun 21 is a blackjack style game with a lot of player friendly rules. There is one unfriendly rule to offset the fun rules. A player gets paid even money on blackjack unless it is suited diamonds where the player gets paid 2-1. There is also a bonus bet with only one way to win. A player may bet $1 and if the player receives a diamond blackjack, the player will win $300. The rules are:
- $2-$500
- One deck
- One hand only
- Dealer hits soft 17
- Double down any number of cards
- Double down after splitting on any number of cards
- Split to three hands
- Hit split aces
